"Chilling In The Garden" @10mm. The planned photo-shoot for this one was laying on the grass with the camera directly above me but I encountered two problems. First it was raining, and secondly the I couldn't get the camera above my head while by myself. That will be in a future photograph.
"About Me Photograph One".@11.5mm This is the first in the trio of photographs that I will be entering into the task #MyLifeInThree on the GPWNPT site. Subtle use of colour-pop I hope makes this one stand out a little.
"Family". @10mm. I wanted to represent home and family with this one. We all love the home, we love the garden, and we all love being with each other.
"The beach and family". @10mm. I spend a lot of time at this beach, and a lot of time with the family, so I think this one is a good representation of my life. Plus I like the edit.
"The beach and family" (Alternate version). @10mm. This is an alternate version of the photo above, with the idea being in among all dullness of the World, I still have family who bring colour to my life.
This project is focused on me and my family, the things that I do and the things that I love. My aim is to take photographs at between 10-18mm and edit them with a retro feel. All photos will be un-cropped, but will be edited to bring the feel I am after. Descriptions below photographs. Enjoy!
"Camera... Action". @16mm. Representing my camera and love for photography in a simple concept shot, which was much harder to perfect in reality!
"Xbox One S". @18mm. Gaming has always played an important part of my life, and this shot represents the modern console disappearing into the past when I first started gaming.
"Looking For Inspiration". @10mm. A self portrait of me looking for inspiration on a shoot at Dunraven Bay. Something I always do when out on a shoot.
"Inspired". @10mm. Another self portrait, having found my inspiration, it was time to get the camera ready and go and take some photographs.
"Hometown Decades". @10mm. Capturing a monument celebrating the old way of life, the rebuilding of Aberavon House and the bridge bringing the town together.
"Industry Estuary". @12mm. Port Talbot is sustained by it's industry, and the biggest part of that is the steelworks and docking area.
"Industry, Estuary & Cranes". @11.5mm. Another take on the photo above it.
"Father & Son". Cut to 16:9 ratio. Taken on Aberavon Beach.
"Mother & Son". Cut to 16:9 ratio. Taken on Aberavon Beach.
"Porthcawl Wall Selfie" @11mm. A low shot, utilising the puddle in front, plus the dramatic skies.
